SynthesisArc is committed to maintaining a website that is usable by as many people as possible, including those who use assistive technology or have different access needs.

Our commitment

We design and build synthesisarc.com to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That means we work to ensure the site is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people who navigate with keyboards, screen readers, voice control, and other assistive technologies. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a finished state. We test, we refine, we improve.

Standards we target

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the internationally recognized baseline for digital accessibility
  • Section 508 (US Federal) — for readers who arrive from government or publicly funded organizations
  • EN 301 549 (EU) — aligned with the European accessibility requirements for digital services

On-site accessibility controls

Every page includes a floating accessibility button (bottom-left) that opens a preferences panel. From there, visitors can:

  • Increase text size to Large or Extra Large
  • Enable high-contrast mode for stronger color differentiation
  • Switch to a dyslexia-friendly font
  • Force reduced motion (disables animations and transitions)
  • Increase line and letter spacing
  • Highlight every link with an underline and accent color
  • Display a larger cursor for easier tracking

Preferences are saved to your browser and persist across visits. No data is sent to us when you change them.

Keyboard navigation

Every interactive element on this site is reachable via keyboard alone. Use Tab to move forward, Shift + Tab to move backward, and Enter or Space to activate buttons. The focused element is always visible with a clear focus outline. Our AI Readiness Snapshot quiz also supports keyboard shortcuts (A-D or 1-4 to select an answer, arrow keys to move between questions, Enter to submit).

Known limitations

We are working to resolve the following items. If any of them block your use of the site, please contact us and we will prioritize a fix.

  • PDF reports generated by the AI Readiness Snapshot are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. We send an HTML summary on request as an accessible alternative.
  • Third-party embedded charts (analytics dashboards in case studies) rely on visual color encoding. We include descriptive captions as a redundant representation.

If you encounter a page or feature that is difficult to access, we want to hear about it. Email us and we will respond within two business days with a plan to resolve the issue.
